An installation in an exhibition for uni of all the Untitled Portraits Ive been working on recently as well as the Prayer Flags from last year. I put them all in with the light and everything and my teachers came along as said "Wouldnt it be cool if you turned them all backwards?!" and I was like "....yeeeeah totally..." its cool but now I have to come up with a reason for it lol.
Anyway, enjoy. Sorry for the shoddy photography!
Thankyou so much in advance for your comments, I read every single one of them and appreciate them all even if I dont get a chance to reply to them!
Now I have no idea of what the brief for this project was but I'll throw an idea out there for the backwards paintings:
"Each piece is to be viewed from the back as it shows confinement of the subjects within and behind the frame that obscures the true beauty of each piece"
or maybe..
"My teachers told me to turn them around, so I did.."
haha i hope you came up with a reason for turning them around.... anyway, it really looks good this way. and the single portraits also look nice to me. i especially like the man with glasses on the left...i think its silk painting stuff. yeah.....
Oooh, it looks great! It looks like an abandoned room, or sth.

This is beautiful. It reminds me of something someone did for their BFA show a couple years ago. If I find the picture I'll make sure to show it to ya.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
