I was a bit down the other day and I got thinking about poor Remus Lupin... Ya just wanna hug him dontchya?? I mean, the poor bloke! Remus is always, ultimately, left alone.
In my opinion, he’s the one HP character that’s been through the most suffering, pain and trauma (course I’m quite obsessed with the Marauder time period, which is why I think I may hold them a little higher than everyone else...) So hence the question; What does happen when you take everything from a man who never had anything to give? Hmmm?

Awww *hugs him*

That's so great. You're very talented. I love his hair...makes you want to pet him. ;) And his hands are fantastic...I can't do hands, so to see an example like yours is inspiring. And his clothes are oh so very Lupin. Absolutely great job. It's a fave. :)

Lol! God that hair! I was getting so annoyed at it!!! Just because it took me like 3 hours! (or three epps of Buffy in the Buffy marathon lol) Yeah, I agree with the hands thing, hands are beautiful to look at but such a horrible thing to try and draw!!! augh!

Thank for the comment I'm glad you like it! Be sure to check out the scanned version of this cos it's not so fuzzy (augh!) as apposed to this, being a photo of it.

thank you for this bsad picture.
Remus is my favorit characte from HP and I regret that JKR didn´t write much more about him.
I fully agree with you, he has so much problems......I would hug him too.

The picture is absolutely beautiful.

I love the clothes - they seem very in character and I love how you can even see frayed bits on the shoulder. And his hair is awesome, you can definately tell you put alot of effort into it and it totally paid off. It's very realistic and looks like you could just touch it.

Personally - although his hand turned out gorgeous, it seems to big. I'm not sure if that's because of the angle of his face. And I think I would've put the writing on horizontally across the page. To me it looks a little last minute to have it that way.

All in all I think this is a gorgeous picture and I'm going to go cruise the rest of your gallery! :D

Aw, I totally agree with you! Remus is my favorite, and the character I pity most above everyone (including Snape, who I identified with more after the 5th book...). And he's really completely selfless, giving of himself with little thought of where it'll end up.

Gorgeous picture, as well... the emotion is fabulous.

He's sooo freaking strong. I mean, he's lost so many people, he must feel like whoever he gets close two is immediately marked off in Death's list...

Maybe it's all just numb by now.

I imagine so... or he wants it to be, anyway. I think he has one of those personalities that can't help but feel. A lot of people write about him commiting suicide... and as depressed as he must be after Sirius (especially if, like me, you're one of the Sirius/Remus-shippers), I don't think he could. There's still Harry, right? And Remus probably knows that if Harry lost him, the kid would go even more nutso than he is now.

I dunno. I think I read into things too much :p
