Been a while since I’ve done a speed painting... I seem to always want to paint Severus in half-shadow... Not based on Alan Rickman but I am fully aware it looks a little (or more than a little?) like him. I can’t picture realistic-Snape (as apposed to cartoon-Snape) without a whole lotta Rickman in ‘im.

...again, scanner = picture death = Kat sad :(



I listened to ‘Maybe I’m Just Tired’ by As Tall As Lions non-stop till it was done... Download it!!! Now!

Rickman IS Snape. It's all right :)

Beautiful colour in this; so subtle, but so vibrant. Very trademark of your work. This is intense; I love it.

a great snape....id like to see more of this speed painting, its very good for the mysterious aura-type deals harry potter allows for. maybe some of the ghosts? lily could be a great follow up piece :0)

Perhaps. I was thinking of doing a Lily but I'm also wanting to get back into my LOTR paintings because I miss then a great deal and people do seem to forget I an first and formost a LOTR fan before HP lol. But yeah I dont think I'll do the ghosts (the only one that I like is The Grey Lady so MAYBE her) but I will probably do Lily or maybe Sirius next.
